Poor Gary. The most exploited place in America. Basically industrialists took advantage of Indiana’s lax environmental laws, proximity to Chicago and location at the southernmost point of the Great Lakes (well placed for rail transit) and built the least livable town in the Country. Go to Gary and see all that bad plannign and poor management of natural and human resources gives you. It’s totally miserable. The people of that town have gotten a bad deal.

I have not been to Whole Foods because I will not go there. I think it is a hypocritical operation. They ave a shameless track record of union-busting. Also, they put pressure on localy owned co-ops. In Milwaukee, we have the Outpost, which offers the same thing in three locations but it is co-operatively owned, non profit and probably has better ties to local farmers. Before the Milw. Whole Foods opened the General manager said they were unable to find enoguh local fatms to supply what they need. Give me a F___ing break!!! Last I checked there are plenty of farms in Wis. This is insulting. DO NOTSHOP AT ANYWHOLEFOODS.

Whole Foods is a shameless corporation. They are union busters. The head of the company, John Mackey habeen said to be a freind of GW Bush. Do not shop at Whole Foods.
