I’m so excited! I’m leaving for New Mexico on Wednesday, August 16th! I’ll be flying into El Paso and driving to Las Cruces. I have six jam-packed days including a visit to: White Sands (!!!), Placitas and Albuquerque. W00t!

Actually, I like them all, even Staten Island. There are pretty neighborhoods like Park Slope and Downtown B’klyn and some not so pretty ones like Bed-Stuy (Bedford-Stuyvesant) or East New York. Some colorful ones like Coney Island or Greenpoint.

And I cannot believe the person below me didn’t see anything there!!! Duh!

...when I visited Sibiu. My father was born in Cluj and when I was three, my parents took me to meet my buna. She was 93 and she died shortly after. I remember very little, but what I do was lovely. I remember certain smells, like wood and the smell of snow in the air, although we went in the summer, I think. I would very much like to go back. Maybe one of these days…

I visited over ten years ago during the coldest week Quebec had ever had….nonetheless, it was beautiful and I would like to visit again.

I drove through New England a few years ago and I absolutely loved Maine. I spent two days in Arcadia National Park and took some fantastic pictures…I recommend Maine for the nature, the lovely people and food!

While I admit I visited only a small part of France (Paris, Cannes, Nice, Lyon, Iles des Lerins), I think that it’s a splendid country full of quirks, but marvelous in its own way.

..I left my heart in San Francisco!

...Milano, but I don’t like the Milanesi very much. I like most places in Italy, although even though it is my country I believe I have visited very little of it.
