I’m so excited! I’m leaving for New Mexico on Wednesday, August 16th! I’ll be flying into El Paso and driving to Las Cruces. I have six jam-packed days including a visit to: White Sands (!!!), Placitas and Albuquerque. W00t!
over 6 years agoActually, I like them all, even Staten Island. There are pretty neighborhoods like Park Slope and Downtown B’klyn and some not so pretty ones like Bed-Stuy (Bedford-Stuyvesant) or East New York. Some colorful ones like Coney Island or Greenpoint.
And I cannot believe the person below me didn’t see anything there!!! Duh!
over 7 years ago…when I visited Sibiu. My father was born in Cluj and when I was three, my parents took me to meet my buna. She was 93 and she died shortly after. I remember very little, but what I do was lovely. I remember certain smells, like wood and the smell of snow in the air, although we went in the summer, I think. I would very much like to go back. Maybe one of these days…
