I am a student at LUC. I love it there! The campus is nice, and the faculty seem to really care about the students.
Some downers: 1. Tons of students smoke, and they stand right in front of the buildings, so I always get smoke in my face.
2. Rogers Park has sort of a bad crime status.
3. Not very many places to grab lunch for cheap.
Some highlights: 1. The chapel is really pretty
2. The Jesuits are pretty nice.
3. Loyola is a competitive university… good education!

The zoo is not the best I’ve been to, but for free it is pretty nice! I feel sorry for some of the animals because their enclosures are so small. I was there during the Chicago Air Show. The animals were very tense and irritated by the big military jets. I want to go back on a non-air show day to see if the animals are happier.

China Town is a favorite place for us locals because the food is amazing, the shops are fun and inexpensive… and the summer festival is so much fun!

Be prepared to do a lot of walking!
It is well worth the time to explore this cave. Take a tour, and take your camera!

Our family has a membership. We go very often. I love the Coal Mine exhibit. The live chicks, and hatching eggs are a favorite for the kids. The food court is amazing! And the staff are very helpful. Don’t miss the omnimax shows!

We love the aquarium! We have a family membership. We go atleast once a month. The dolphins and whales are the highlight, but the anaconda snake is really cool to look at!

Because of this museum, I am going to school to be an anthropologist!

Was 24 years ago. I was chosen for the dolphin show! I got to touch the dolphin, feed it, and it pulled me around the pool in a blow-up boat! I will never forget that day!

I was flat broke. I don’t recommend Las Vegas if you are broke. But I walked the strip daily, at night I people watched and played slots. The hotels are fun to walk around. There is a cheap trolly ride to get you across the busy strip. Stayed at Circus Circus, but wouldn’t recommend it. I want to stay at Treasure Island, Belaggio or mandalay Bay.

Avoid the tourist traps, and enjoy the beautiful beaches and tropics! Don’t waste your money on buying leis and hawaiian shirts. Spend your money on the great food, entertainment, day cruises, and diving tours. See a luau, and check out the Cultural Center.
