A wise, good friend and colleague told me Finland was a magical place. I didn’t know just how so until I spent the summertime there. It may be gloomy for the most part, and the people a bit standoffish and wary of strangers, but this place stole my heart in more ways than one. Being back there this Autumn will be an interesting contrast, but I am looking forward to it.
