Alohamora

I am moving here in June. It will be the first place I have ever lived outside of the city I was born and raised in, so I am nervous. I am not really sure what to expect from this city,
but I do know that I would like to have a summer filled with adventure. I love camping, and I would love to do some exploring and maybe a little treasure hunting?
If anyone has any ideas or advice, or if you know anything about this place, please let me know!

the last time i went to this place was 2 summers ago (2006).
i have been here a few times, and it was always beautiful. upper michigan and its waterfalls are my favorite things in life, you see, but on this particular occasion i was slightly disappointed because it was quite dry.
the hike on the way to the falls is AMAZING, so even if the falls aren’t flowing very fast, you should go anyway.

I am going to be in Massachusetts for Christmas 2007. I will be there from December 24 until January 4ish. I want to see Boston, and eat good food, drink good beer, and see beautiful things, but I am not sure where these things can be found. I also would love to visit Salem and see witch trial-related things, but am not sure where to find “the good stuff”- you know- the stuff that tourists don’t know about….
so if anyone knows of anything, please pass some ideas my way!!

I am going to be in Washington DC from December 20 through December 23, 2007. It will be my first time, and i am excited to visit. While there, i would like to:
-see the smithsonian
-see the national monuments (including take a tour of the white house)
i don’t know if i will have time to do much more than that, but if anyone has any ideas, or ideas for restaurants and suchforth, i would love to hear them!!
