Summer started with Moab. What an magical fantastic trip! My friends and I had Moab withdrawal for days after.
Linda drove us the 6 hours, and the pictures say it all. Starting with the scenery of the dead trees in the mist we passed on the way, to our camping spot, to 4 wheeling around the switch backs down to Mineral road. It was all so gorgeous!
And having such chilled out friends to be with made it all the better!
over 2 years agoOne of the best neighborhood bistros in Denver. Great selection on the menu, and best value on the wine list. I’m surprised this little gem of a place hasn’t had more recognition and reviews. I’ve never been disappointed with the food when I eat here. And the staff are very friendly too!
over 4 years agoStopped in at Mona’s for breakfast while my bike was getting fixed next door at REI. Totally worth the wait, and visit.
They use good quality fresh eggs and the portions are generous. I ordered the egg scramble with avocado, sausage and jack. They didn’t skimp on the avocado which I loved. Potatoes were decent too.
I was especially impressed by the service. I was reading a book while I was there, and they weren’t bothered by how long I stayed even though there was a wait list. My coffee and water were refilled many times before I could even think of asking.
