Not being interested in shopping, drinking, or touring American Revolution sites, I didn’t find much interesting.

I was in my late twenties and always watched the History Channel. I WASN’T some ADHD teenager, FYI.

My friend who lived in Curacao let me stay in his small vacation house here in the mid-eighties. At that time it was where affluent residents went on the weekend.

Seats near the stage are of course great. Spots on the lawn are great. Reserved seating in between can be awful if everyone is standing. There’s not enough stadium seating effect and you could end up starring at the heads of the people in front of you all night. Even my 5’10” frame had a hard time at a Van Halen show.

...never been to the Space Center. I guess that’s what I get for having cool relatives around here.

Bigger and more fantastical than words can express. Not to be missed.

On a moonless night twenty years ago, I could see millions of stars – and nothing else. It was pitch – lucky I didn’t walk off the South Rim into the canyon ;-)

It’s one of the world’s best golf courses and the site of two recent US Opens. Take a caddy, play the white tees, and practice your bump-and-run shot for around the greens.
