France, Europe
Untitled
after my friend ran away from the army in germany, we headed to paris. we spent a couple of weeks living on the streets in paris. although it was a rather stinky city, i thought the sky was beautiful, and the people very friendly. one woman even bought us a bottle of champagne! people are easy to talk to, and there is always something interesting going on under bridges by the river sein. outside of paris it was a little hard to hitchhike, as neither of us was fluent in french. but we had a great time sleeping under bridges, putting on street shows in small villages, and foraging for food. we eventually made it to a permaculture farm, which opened up a whole new world for me. i was able to go to the european rainbow gathering in the pyreenes (an amazing beautiful place) and begin learing about medicinal herbs. living on a farm made me realize how much i loved living on a farm!
