Cancún, Quintana Roo

Interesting but not that much.

I went to Cancun on 2004, but I didn´t find it as it was presented to me. Maybe is because I live in a touristy country and the endless, whitier than white, beaches don´t impress me. The only thing that I really appreciate was the maya legacy (overall the overhelming Chitzen-Itza). Good place for “no party countries” people, but a bit boring for people used to night-life.

San Sebastián, Guipúzcoa

Great place.

I lived in Donostia-San Sebastian for my first 14 years. It is a great city. Really gorgeous landscape, human-sized, fulfilled with things to see and do. I have been out for another 14 years but as long as my family lives there I return peridically to check out what´s new. Musts: pintxos, walk along “La Kontxa”, sights from Igeldo, eating at one of its worlwide famous restaurants.
