JaK's Grill, Issaquah

Best steaks in the Seattle area

The Delmonico is the best steak I’ve ever had (and I likes me some steak). JaK’s was Zagat’s highest rated red meatery recently (bested El Gaucho and the Metropolitan Grill).

If you don’t make it out to the one in Issaquah there are two more closer to downtown (West Seattle and Leschi).

The restaurant is dark and loud (and isn’t really kid or big-group friendly). They don’t take reservations and the drinks are usually strong. Sounds like a good time to me!

Old downtown Issaquah is a treasure (and a nice little place!)

I’ve lived in Old Downtown Issaquah for about three years now (with my wife and now with a newborn too).

Having everything in walking distance is great and it really does have a small town feeling. There’s TONS of hiking trails in the surrounding hills and many great views to be had.

If you’re a meat-eater you HAVE to go to JaK’s Grill and have a Delmonico. Best. Steak. EVAR!

One downside is that we seem to get more rain than surrounding areas. Bummer since I hate rain.
