Went and played in the 1st World cup of Futsal. Most of the games were in Mirnyyi, Yakutia and Lensk.

Where my parents were born.

Heading here in June for the Futsal world cup. Can’t wait to visit the place and play for my country.

We were here on my birthday. Walking through the red light district, it turned 12:01am and my mates started singing happy birthday, an old homeless women yelled at us to “shut up or I will F*&ken kill u”, the whole district went quiet, until we all started laughing. The rest of the day was taken up by shrooms.

One of my favourite days ever. Started watching all the acts on the main road, brought a great painting, had lunch at a famous restaurant (snails.. mmm). Shopped at a meat and fruit market. Went to a tapas bar, found an amazing nightclub. Lost myself in the city and couldn’t find my hotel and had to pay a cabbie 75 euro to get me to the airport in time for my flight. My mate also got pick pocketed after the nightclub. Absolutely amazing day and night.

I went and lived in a small town called Taunton for 3 months between Nov 2005 and Jan 2006. I loved it so much, that I am going back to live in London for 2 years in April 07.
