grew up here…the beach used to be really beautiful before all the mtv spring break’s were held there, then the beach got bombarded w/ sloppy drunks and trash. literally. now they’re tearing down the quaint places along the beach to build high rise condos and strip malls. it’s unfortunate. i’m sure most of yall will like the more touristy atmosphere anyway and still have a good time.

definitely NOT worth visiting b/c there really is NOTHING to do there. HOWEVER, i did love living here. the cops do suck but they also do keep the town relatively safe compared to the surrounding towns, i.e. fairfield, vallejo..etc. i loved that vacaville was right in between sacramento and s.f. not too bad of a drive to get to either. we plan on moving back someday if plans for oregon don’t pan out.

had a blast growing up here. nice small town you can pretty much get away with anything. although…from old friends back home i hear they’re really building it up. last year they built a starbucks so that really put us on the map! :)

my husband and i took our three yr. old son here and we all had a blast. make a day of it, there’s so much to see and do. the churaumi aquarium is just a part of ocean expo park so there’s much more to do. i love aquariums and museums so i’d have to say i had to most fun in okinawa when i visited this place.
