I visited Cherokee, NC and went to the high school to talk with high schoolers there. It was an awesome experience. These students were super nice kids and I loved being there. One thing I loved was seeing Mingo Falls in the winter! It was completely frozen because it was like 15 degrees the night before. I have NEVER been in weather like this ever! We had to hike up these stairs that were super high and LONG! IT was worth it because when we got up there we saw the ice on the water and I loved it.

I have been to at least 4 or 5 different places in this state. I must admit that I do like it. There is so much to do here. My sis lives here and I have fun doing things everytime I go. One time, she and her husband took me to the Coca-Cola museum! HOWCOOL IS THISMUSEUM! You actually walk through all the boring details of how Coke got started and stuff, but then you get to sample all these different drink that you don’t see in your local grocery store or Wal-Mart! They are cokes from different countries. There are different flavors. As you can see, I really do like GA. It’s like you are in the South, but it is very much a modern city.

I didn’t really like it here. Of all the places I’ve gone, I don’t think this is in my top 10 list of places to go back to. This place is truly the city. I was very afraid when I was there. My brother-in-law grew up there so we went to visit his mom. I must say that they do have good food! If you do go, don’t leave without getting you a big juicy Coney Island cheese burger! Ummmmmmmmmmmm…it was so good! I also ate at a restaurant called Starters—Huge portions and very delicious!
