Not very much to New Castle
but I spent a lot of time to and from it because my ex-girlfriend lived there when we were dating.
Not a very interesting place otherwise.

...even with a very swollen, freshly-pierced tongue, I managed to scarf down three slices within 15 minutes my first night in San Francisco—no small feat, mind you, but completely and utterly worth it.

ever ever ever ever. I dare you to find better subs anywhere. Not hoagies, not heros, not wedges—subs. I’m pretty die hard about my beloved Quick Chek subs, but Tastee will always beat them all out hands-down. There’s this teeny-tiny parking lot and there’s always a long line, but you won’t even care once you’ve tasted one of their creations. If heaven exists, Tastee Sub caters it.

and it’s definitely worth it, if you can find parking. Be sure to try the hot chocolate with the rock candy stir-stick.

Every time we go to Stone Harbor, on the last day we’re there we go to breakfast at Uncle Bill’s. On weekends there’s usually a line that goes at least to the end of the block, and it’s really crowded and noisy, but it’s so worth it. They’ve got a whole slew of unusual pancakes, and all kinds of special syrups and toppings and oh, man, I’m hungry just thinking about it.
Go for the short stack or the silver dollars to start. You cannot go to Stone Harbor without checking out Uncle Bill’s!

Nice place, despite the fishy smell. And their Pizzeria Uno is bangin’. I’d defintely go back.

It was worth it sheerly because of what it means—however, when I was there (in 6th grade) it was an enormously foggy day and I couldn’t see a damn thing out the windows of the crown. When I go back I’m making sure it’s clear and bright outside. And taking the elevator.

and it’s really best not to go on a windy day. Feeling like you’re going to literally blow away isn’t really a good feeling. Also, be sure not to lose your wallet at the Empire State Building. You won’t find it.
Still, I’d like to go back on a less windy day.
