Thanks to the US Army!

I spent 3 years in and around Germany in the early 90’s in the Army working as a Customs Inspector for military troops returning to the states. I was stationed in Nuernburg, but spent a lot of time in other areas of the country like Frankfurt, Ansbach, Graffenvoer(sp?), Hohenfels, and many others. Overall, not the siteseeing experience I would’ve liked it to be, but I got to see quite a bit of the country none the less. A great experience, and I’d like to return someday.

Some of the most beautiful scenery in the country

Amazingly beautiful farmland, great shopping, even great for kids. I spent some time in New Hope, and in Philly, and they were both great areas. Philly has all the great buildings and monuments, and New Hope has beautiful farmland and a really cool canal system with tons of little shops all along it. 5 minutes up the road is Peddler’s village, which is also a really great way to spend the day.

Awful, Just awful

I hated every minute we were in NJ, except those we spent in the Adventure Aquarium in Campden. Everything else about the state was pretty awful.
