Not worth it!
I’ve lived here for 6ish years and to be honest I’ve never liked it.
I am sure that the people who have recommended it have only been to the “good parts” like old town and all the Steinbeck spots. The rest of it isn’t that great.
Now to be fair, if you are a Steinbeck enthusiast or a lover of agriculture, then by all means come and check it out. Otherwise, don’t expect too much.
I have been DYING to go to Japan for so long. The culture is just so beautiful to me and I love pretty much anything Japanese. I am studying the language at the moment (LOVE IT!) and trying to get a degree to teach English. I know most natives know English, but I just feel like it would be more polite to TRY and learn, plus I just like the language anyway. My ideal would be to move there.
Does anyone have any advice about moving there or teaching?
Worth visiting!
There is so much to do here. I seriously can’t get enough of San Fran. Bring good shoes though if you are going to be walking around the city. You WILL get blisters if ill-prepared (personal experience). If you can, stay a few days because you can’t see everything in a day. Ah, get bubble tea in Chinatown! It’s REALLY good!
