From what I saw, Kansas is a pretty boring state. There’re probably some interesting attractions as I’m sure there are in any state, but in Kansas, the attractions are separated by huge tracts of farmland.

Home of the World's Largest Ball of Twine

Driving from Kansas City, KS, to somewhere in Utah, we stopped (miles out of our way) in Cawker City to see its famous twine ball. Needless to say, it did not disappoint.

If I was in the area, I’d certainly visit it again.
