    Granville Island

    Worth visiting!

The last time I went to this place  — 1 year ago

I bought so much tasty food in the market. Fresh cheese, bread, vegetables, berries… Went outside and had a little picnic by the inlet with some awesome music, courtesy of one of the many buskers all around the island!

    Vancouver

    Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place  — 1 year ago

Find a house with lots of people, and live with them. Otherwise, be prepared to spend a LOT of money living in Vancouver. That, or just head east until you can afford it!

Recommendation: Obscure little place in Dunbar  — 2 years ago

I’ve stumbled onto this little cafe / restaurant on Alma and 10th, thanks to my girlfriend. It’s called ‘Lavender and Lotus Cafe’ (or ‘Lotus and Lavender’.. one or the other!). I’m not sure if they have signage, but it’s part of an interior decor store called “Divine Design”.

They’re always baking / cooking things in there. Their menu changes daily (with some recurring foods, like the mexican pizza.. so delicious and filling, for roughly $4.50).

Oh, it’s all vegetarian.. but that shouldn’t be a disappointing thing – the food is simply amazing.
