there isn’t TOO much to see, and it is rather hot…

but it’s an interesting place, a nice stop on the way.

especially the Dali museum

such a lovely bustling place.

what’s not to like about the place? heh heh..

great pubs and great atmosphere. i could defnitely live there (throughout the summer :)

we hiked up the glacier, quite an experience, IMHO.

not worth the time and money.

i had just one photo opportunity, on Ulva island, and i admit it was worth it, but still…

(ulva island is a tiny little island where you are supposed to see a lot of endemic birds, we mainly spotted Wekas. nothing to write home about)

the cruises into the sound.

OMG.

still enjoying lots of the things i got there for ridiculous prices.

but other than being tax free, and have great bike shops, there wasn’t much else to do there. :S
