Because I want to have another vacation in Thailand, but spend it on the Andaman side this time. Bars, sex and scuba diving do not interest me, so I am hoping to find there a quiet and unspoiled equivalent of Ko Tao, with maybe a bit bigger tidal waves.

For the most tasteful of budget accommodations I cannot but recommend Blue Wind at the northern end of the beach, which has none of that adolescent atmosphere of overcrowded Simple Life and such, but features smartly placed private huts, a yoga room, and its own beach restaurant.

My ancestors on my mom’s side descend from Krakow aristocracy, so I’d like to go and see how it feels to get back in touch with 1/64th of me!
