GO!

Go early. It’ s worth it to stay overnight in town so you can be the first through the gates. It’s so beautiful and quiet before the tour buses show up. Around 10:00 tour buses will arrive and drop off crowds people.

Rent a bike (test it first- a lot of them have bent handlebars) and you will be so happy. A bike will get you around fast so you can see the whole place and save your energy for trucking up the steep stone stairs to the top of the pyramid.

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco

Nice family vacation

The old city is lovely, the beaches are beautiful, and it’s a gay friendly destination.

I met my husband on a camping trip here 13 years ago. A fantastic place.
