Its a beautiful city, and Sydney-siders know how to turn it on to make it even more beautiful. My favourite bits are the NYE fireworks at Circular Quay and Home nightclub.

It’s huge, both in size and population (compared to other AU cities) and more fast paced. The vibe of the place can get to you after a while if you’re not used to it. It seems the people are a little more reserved – nice to your face – but everyone seems to have a group they are assigned into based on where they live or what their background is. That said, the more I visit, the more I get used to it. You’ll find the gem’s of people wherever you go.

Many places you go to, and you’re glad your there for just a holiday. Thats the opposite with Byron Bay. I seem to get drawn back again and again. The vibe of the people is amazing, the vibe of the town is tremondous, walking down the street just makes you’re worries go away.

There is a heartbeat that keeps the music scene here alive. Compared to other cities around the world we are lucky to have venues (although they get threatened by developer yuppies from time to time) and we are lucky to have extraordinary talented muso’s to come play in them. Even better we draw in acts from out of town who end up considering moving here because the vibe is so good.
