Soldotna

Worth visiting!

A tip I have about this place

If you’re going to be staying in Soldotna for a vacation, stay at Alaska Lodging. The owner Tony is Awesome! He offers a place for your fish, impeccably clean cabins and a secluded area to stay. His community fish station gives a central location to chat with other cabins about where to fish, who caught what, and a place for all to tell their fish stories of the day. I suggest this place for anyone looking for a friendly, secluded place in the heart of fishing country.

Covington

Worth visiting!

A review of this place: Lived there most my life...

I lived in Covington most of my life and loved it up until the last few years. It got over populated, the little 2 lane road through the entire town is now clogged with traffic (may have something to do with the 12 stoplights on the 1 mile stretch of road) and you drive out of your way to avoid it. We moved away earlier this year and so far have been very happy with the decision.

Stayed here with my family when I was 16. Had lots of fun but the hotel is HUGE and I got lost in it twice. Ha ha.

Homer

Worth visiting!

Quiet little town

We were in Homer at about 11pm at night in June 05 and it was quiet, quaint and saw 2 or 3 moose & about 50+ bald eagles while we were there. The decent down the main road into the town was absolutley gorgeous!
