I spent a romantic weekend with my fiance at the Golden Pheasant Inn, Bed & Breakfast. It was everything I wanted it to be during a crisp November weekend. The food was fantastic, the family that owned it was very lovely and I even had the pleasure of encountering the resident ghost in my room. A friendly presence which I passed off as a trick the light was playing until the next morning the owner’s daughter was innocently discussing the presence occupying room 5, our ROOM!!

I’d recommend this place to anyone looking to spend a quiet romantic weekend with their loved one.

I spent a week here in a condo with my now fiance and it was here that we really had the chance to enjoy being the fantastic couple we are. It was the off season so there wasnt too many people. Just quiet enough for us to enjoy each other with limited distraction. It will always be one of my fondest memories.

I went to Portland looking for a place to live and I found God. He was looking down on me from the majestic evergreens, and whispering my name through the rushing waterfalls.

While sitting on a cliff, we discussed in depth my need to find peace within myself and accept the things in the world I cannot change.

I hiked through the mountains inhaling the clean air and exhaling all the negativity that has chased me through the years.

I’m home now, but I need go back, for my health, my sanity, for my internal peace.
