    Dinosaur Bar-B-Que

    Worth visiting!

A review of this place: Great BBQ in Rochester  — 3 months ago

I’ve always been very impressed by the food at Dino!

The nachos are fantastic; when they ask if you want chili or pulled pork, just say you want both :) Chicken wings are amazing.

I usually order the “Tres Hombres” platter — you get ribs, beef brisket, and pulled pork. Cajun corn and black beans & rice are by far my favorite sides.

    Apizza Scholls

    Worth visiting!

A review of this place: Darn good...  — 3 months ago

This is the closest thing to east coast thin crust pizza that I’ve found on the west coast. It’s like a cross between NYC thin crust and New Haven apizza .

I found the service to be very friendly. Then again, I’m from New York; maybe you Portlanders demand über-friendly service ;)

Pizzas are a little on the pricey side, ranging between $20-24 dollars (about 8 large slices).

Bonus: They serve Mexican Coke in glass bottles. AWESOME.

    Voodoo Doughnut

    Worth visiting!

A review of this place: That voodoo that they do...  — 3 months ago

I dropped by Voodoo Doughnut on a Tuesday afternoon (my first visit).

There was no wait, a friendly girl working behind the counter, and plenty of Maple Bacon doughnuts available for purchase.

    What’s not to like?
