Paris, Ile de France

Recommended: Paris City Pass

I would suggest getting the Paris City Pass! My friend & I got the 6-day pass for about 60 euros at the info booth in the airport when we arrived. There are also 2 and 4 day passes. It’s well-worth it if you’re going to try to see a good portion of the museums and monuments in the city, plus you get to skip lines and not have to worry about carrying a lot of money around. It gets you into everything (Lourve, Pompidou, Versaille, Notre Dame, Conciergerie, St. Chapelle, catacombs, Science Museum, D’orsay, Arc de Triomphe, Musee de Rodin & Picasso, Pantheon, military museum, sewer tour…) everything except the Eiffel Tower which is like 11 euros. I highly recommend it!

Palace of Versailles, Versailles

I wish I would have been there in Spring to see the beauty of the gardens and fountains, but then again, the lines and crowds were much easier in January…
