Meh;
United States is over-rated, & not worth visiting especially with the recent political affairs. So much more can be seen with your eyes, don’t waste them on this decaying tragedy.

I stayed in Belguim for a bit on a little scenic skateboarding tours my buddies & I put together. It was rather fun & just like your basic European country. Friendly people willing to show you good spots that aren’t too touristy.

I came to Japan with my brother about 3 years ago on a mini-vacation we saved up for. It was certainly a change from Western life, & I like that. I’m orginally from Europe, so I can understand foreigners being hostile towards Americans, but everyone I met (& struggled to have a conversation with :P) was rather friendly. Lots of people speak English there, thank God for me. My brother is the one pretty fluent in Japenese.
The night-life is equivilent to NYC, so if you’re used to that, you can handle Japan.
We were only there for 3 weeks, not enough time to see everything, but I hope to return soon.

I was born in Stuttgart, & I may be biased because of that reason, but I find it a completely compelling little town in Germany. The architecture of the early European houses are really present here, unlike new, modern cities in Germany that are adapting to the Western ways. I like the cobbled streets & the easy, open air you get just by being in town. Everyone is completely friendly & not very “snobby” as some people deem. I loved growing up here, it taught me a lot of things, like not taking things for granted & politics.
Visit if you like small, homey towns full of good people & GREAT food. Otherwise, stuck to Munich or Berlin.

I had lived in Normandie France for 6 months before coming here to America.
Do I miss it?
Somewhat.
I didn’t really have a lot of time to get to know the area or the people, it was more of a stepping stone for us, but it was interesting.
The scenery & history is really a strong point for this city. If you’re into either of those, this might be a good spot to sight-see & read up on some things. Not really touristy.

Acapulco was the second place in Mexico I vacationed to, & it was pretty different from Cancun. Not as touristy, & definitly more laid back. Everyone there pretty much did their own thing, & the scenery was beautiful & relaxing.

I vacationed here a few years back & it was such an experience. I was concerned the locals wouldn’t enjoy American tourists, but they were so helpful & understanding, it blew my mind.
The beaches were beautiful, & it was the first time I ever saw straight down to the bottom of the ocean before. We did a lot of activities around the area, visited the ruins & market shops, took an entertainment pirate ship out to sea, & I even swam with dolphins! It was right after 9/11, so ticket-fare for planes were pretty cheap, if you have the chance to visit, I’d say it was a life-changing experience for me.

Clearwater has nice beaches & it’s a pretty exciting town. Good clubs to go at if you’re into that, I recommend this place if you want to get out of the shit-holes in Florida. (Good drugs too, haha.)

I’m orginally from Stuttgart, Germany. I moved from Normandie, France to Philadelphia, PA when I was sixteen. Not only is it the first place in the States I’ve been to, Philadelphia is also my home.
Great art, good cheesesteaks, & an amazing nightlife.
I recommend this place to anyone who enjoys beautiful city scapes & history.
