JP- My home town is the tops in Boston

I grew up in JP, spent 20+ years of my life there, and I never really get tired of it. It has a great combination of an urban vibe, and enough green to make you forget you’re in the city. JP Licks still has the best icecream. Hyde Sqaure has some excellent mom and pop restaurants serving great Latin cuisine, and downtown JP on Centre Street, has enough shops and restaurants to grab a bite with a friend or a date.

Definately check out the Arboretum or the pond.

Newbury Street, Back Bay

perfect any day of the year...

Newbury Street never gets old for me. There’s people watching, tons of restaurants, stores to shop or browse, those beautiful gass street lamps that remind you that you’re in the old city of Boston. Oh, and did I mention people watching? Yeah, it can be super pretentious, but it has an incredible liveliness and charm that keeps me coming back for more.

Italy, Europe

Untitled

I found Italy beautiful when I visited the country in 2000. I loved, loved Venice. It’s such a surreal and magical place that you have to visit to understand it. Think of climbing out of water taxis during low tide and high tide. I loved Piazza San marco and the cafes, and winding roads, and bridges. Stayed on Lido, which has really lovely architecture and is quieter.

Highly recommend San Gimagnano and Siena.

You have to visit the Spanish steps in Rome! It’s just an incredible sight.
