It was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. The city reminded me a lot of Amsterdam, with winding canals and similar architecture. Overall, one of the best places to go. Good food, great shopping, SUPER nice people, and amazing beer. The waffles and chocolate really do live up to their mythology. No joke.

We went to Oslo for my 21st birthday-palooza!

As a little girl I was obsessed with ancient Greece and spent a lot of time reading all of the myths and studying everything I could about the Parthenon, the Acropolis, and the ruins. Finally making the hike up the Acropolis and seeing and touching the ruins myself was one of the most gratifying and amazing things I have ever done. I was so taken aback by how amazing it is.

I completely fell in love. One of my favorite Italian cities.

I went to Pompeii with certain expectations that were never met. The history with Vesuvius and what happened was, of course, fascinating but I was a bit disappointed. I was anticipating and really looking forward to seeing more bodies but only saw two.

The art! The architecture! The history!
