The first time I went here, I never wanted to leave.

We drove out of the airport in our rental van and I saw the mountains… it made me so happy to see that. Generally we don’t see mountains in Winnipeg. The aquarium was fun, and I liked walking around downtown.. even though there was an abundance of homeless people (haha). I love Vancouver.

This place changed my life because it made me see beauty in new things. I saw the ocean for the first time and fell in love with it’s endless beauty (that sound soooo cheesy). We drove on inredibly smooth highways and saw so many things. I tried salmon for the first time. I said goodbye to relatives and actually felt extremely sad to be doing so for the first time. I saw the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen.. over the ocean. I saw mountains. I saw jellyfish, starfish, otters and crabs. My feet were in the Pacific Ocean. I’ve never been anywhere better.
