I’m taking the bus to Baltimore. Why I’m going is a rather long story that I won’t recount here. Anyway, I do want to make a list of 10 things I’d like to do while there. I’m really only interested in “weird” Baltimore things, as in, things that I can ONLY do in Baltimore
1- see a (specific) lighthouse
2- visit the Visionary Art Museum
3- visit the Baltimore Museum of Art (I actually want to make a sub-list here of specific works of art that I’d like to see – museums overwhelm me!)
4- eat something only available in Baltimore (what would that be??)

I finally met someone who has been to Yestermorrow. She told me it’s not worth going to because the people there are not good “hosts”.

I must admit that this made me sad. I trust this woman’s judgment.

Lynn’s is visually fun and shopping at “World of Swirl” can be hysterical.

I use to go simply to eat the pancake concoction of the day. I had wonderful carrot cake pancakes there once (never caught them on the menu again :-(

It’s harder for me to eat at Lynn’s since I started abstaining from dairy and working to eliminate gluten. The food here is simply good with huge portions (I always plan on it being 2 meals). The service is usually friendly and efficient.

There’s NOTHING here that’s not too many other places. There’s not a single non-franchise restaurant.

You have to pay to park and if you park on the street before 6pm there’s a 2-hour maximum. It’s hard for me to have lunch with a friend and visit Borders in under 2-hours. Sure there are garages/lots where you can pay more to park. Should you have to pay to spend your money?? I think NOT!!!

Wake up early and go to “Dawn at the Downs”.

This really falls between “worth visiting” and “not …”. It’s an okay restaurant; small, decent food – nothing spectacular that I encountered. Haven’t made my way back there since a buy-one-get-one-free coupon sent me.

It’s a mall. There’s nothing there that’s not too many other places.
