Living in Richmond shows you the disgusting and corrupt under-belly of human nature at it’s worst. Visit, but do not live here. Beware of the bums. Lots of con-artists, thieves, bums, and what-not. Do not give money to them. Do not walk around Richmond, alone, at night.

That being said, there are many beautiful and wonderful places in Richmond. This city is full of history and there is always something going on – summer music festivals, food festivals, wine festivals, the lake front is gorgeous, there’s hiking, fishing (St. James is polluted) boulder hopping, boating, you name it – it’s there. Cary Town has many cute shops, Maymont PArk has magnificent gardens, and the entire city is full of beautiful historic architecture.

Texas has much to see, and the abundance of life within cities spawns cool stuff to go and see, but if you have to drive across this state on either the I-40 or the I-10, don’t expect rest areas with bathrooms, vending machines, live grass for your pets or water. :) I like Dallas, there’s some great clubs to visit and awesome restaurants.

Oh yeah, good way to pass time driving across the I-10 – count animal carcasses. you’d be surprised!

I was in Warsaw when I was 10 years old. I remember that it’s a busy, bustling city full of people and lots of things going on. I would love to go back. I’ve considered going to school in Warsaw.
