It’s a nice place to visit…honest…but having lived here for 30+ years (minus the traveling elsewhere), I am extremely ready to move. Of all the places I’ve visited, Nome, ALaska is the one place I’d like to relocate to. I am originally from Maryland, and loved winter best when I was up there. Summers were smoggy, but winters were snowy. In Nome, ALaska, summers are gorgeous (sun is up almost 24 hours) and balmy ad winters are dark, cold, and snowy…just the way winter should be. The only thing I’ll miss, once in Nome, is my family, and my San Antonio Spurs….but, believe it or not, I know of one other Spurs fan in Nome…so I’ll be alright.
