Friendly locals and beautiful scenery

The downtown area business district has some very cool buildings with interesting architecture. I recommend going down there at least for a day.

I’m not saying there is nothing good about the place, it is just the time that I spent there I was bored. The traffic is horrendous.

If you don’t mind a bit of traffic, Knoxville isn’t that bad of a place. It is a middle of the way place. From here it is easy to go to Nashville, Atlanta, Chattanooga, etc.

Definately not a place for an extended visit, but there are some interesting things if you’re driving through. There are some decent parks and trails in the area. The image is from Buffalo Mt. located in JC.

Beautiful beaches, incredible water, friendly locals.

If you enjoy nature, or doing anything outdoors than TN is great. Great mountains, rivers, lakes and camping.
