I had an excellent time. I would have loved to have had more time to spend looking at everything.

We climbed one of the hardest paths up the mountain and felt such a sense of achievement when we reached the summit. I don’t think you could have the same feeling if you take the train. I was impressed with the woman who had managed to walk up the main path with 3-inch heels on. I couldn’t have done that.

I would never go if I didn’t have family living there. I’m on my way there again in a couple weeks. The wind never stops blowing.

I fly next weekend and will be there for 6 days before I fly on to somewhere else. I will get to see cousins I haven’t seen for nearly 20 years. Should be excellent.

I moved from O.C. to Pagosa Springs. Big culture shock. Beautiful country. My first Christmas morning, I opened the back door and there was a deer out in the garden eating the remains of the broccoli. I loved the snow and how the flakes just floated down.

I made a detour to see it on my way somewhere else. I only spent 15 or 20 minutes looking. It is definitely something everyone needs to see sometime. I will definitely go back and spend more time exploring.

I lived in HB longer than I have anywhere else. My first job was at the snack bar off Brookhurst. Road my bike along the path to get there. I really need to take my husband for a visit to show him around.

This was a fabulous city. I could see myself living there. There people were very nice. It didn’t matter if you couldn’t speak Dutch. They were just as happy to speak to you in English. The next time I go I will definitely rent a bike.

I went camping here regularly when I was a kid. I’m not much of a desert person, but the off-roading was excellent.
