I made the poor choice of going to EVO in Las Vegas. The previous years it had been held at CalPoly in Pomona. I had been to EVO before the locale change but thought, “hey, I had such a nice time last year..”

There are two kinds of people in this world, people who LOVE Las Vegas and people who have no business there whatsoever. I’m one of those people who doesn’t love Las Vegas. It had seemed as if all my friends had changed overnight into complete assholes.

Besides that, the tournament itself was boring. A lot of the new kids who had shown up were incredibly disrespectful and the makeshift HALO tournament that was thrown had no business there. Green Valley Ranch’s staff were incredibly unaccomidating as well.

I use to go out with a guy from Carmel. My best friend’s parents also spend their anniversaries there.

It’s a nice place for white people. Everyone stares at you funny otherwise. And boy have I been stared at. :/ Their beach smelled like an adult diaper for some reason.

Worth visiting only to make fun of the goth kids walking on the sidewalks in 90 degree weather during the summer. ahaha

For some reason, their Starbucks is cheaper than anywhere else I’ve been. That’s a good enough reason for me to drop by when driving up and down the coast.

Too many goddamn Asians fill the streets and parking lots with their poor driving. It always smells funny in Milpitas due to sewage or something. And besides the Great Mall and Milpitas Golf Land, there’s nothing to do in Milpitas.

Four words: Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles.

Otherwise, there’s no point in going to Long Beach. I just go to the Roscoe’s in Long Beach because it’s technically the closest from Anaheim Convention Center.

When not near the Long Beach Convention Center, the place is pretty crappy. Reminds me of Oakland lite.

I’ve never been surrounded by so many white-washed Asians and teens with bad taste in music. Everything in Irvine angers me. Even when I just want to get some food, I still have to put up with the spoiled kids with nothing better to do.

Shopping outlets. That’s the only reason to visit.

Okay place. Feels a bit trashy, but that’s what gives it its charm.

Easily accessible by BART, for better or worse.

Boring. Only good if you’re white then you won’t get pulled over by the cops for no reason.
