I spent two weeks doing relief work after hurricane Katrina with an amazing crew of passionate punks, hippies and Christian freaks. It was an incredible time serving admist so much destruction but we pulled off an incredible performance of assistance that surpassed what the established agencies with all their funding could do. Hooray.
over 5 years agoI was here for a permaculture design course and it was great. Beautiful red cliffs, warm waters. Stones along the beach and wildflowers.

Petra is beautiful. The colors of the rocks illuminate the senses. The forms and shapes are impressive and majestic. I heard you can go sometimes at night and the approach is all lit by candles. Too many kids trying to sell you trinkets. If you can get up away the hikes and views of the valley are amazing.
