I went to the pyramids as part of an egypt tour with intrepid. the pyramids was the second day of the trip an didn’t disapoint.

They are amazing – the most surprising thing is that it backs onto the sahara – so you see sand galore and camel rides in the foreground of the pyramid panaroma shots.

On Monday I am moving to Adelaide for about 8 weeks to run our SA office.

I’ve been to Adelaide about 10 times in the past 7 years, and always liked it, so I’m happy to be going there.

I’ll be by myself for the first 3 weeks, then kj will join me for the rest of the time.

I’ll have to start getting together a list of things to do in adelaide.

I had to go to Dili for work in 2000. It was super interesting but super depressing.

I know it sounds ridiculous but the best meal I’ve ever eaten was at a Western restaurant at Disney Paris. It was very expensive – but every part of our meal and experience was the best ever.

When my family first moved to Penang when I was a kid this is where we lived until we bought a house. I can clearly remember the pools, coconut trees and the rooms.
