One of the 4 main trading cities of ancient china ..all thats left is the old ancestors temple…a must visit.
Very friendly ppl, .....they followed me all over the place smiling ..(sigh) hadn’t seen an Indian before I guess.

The guest list of the E&O reads like a whos who of the arts….this is an old stately colonial hotel it is a living breathing museum and is right up there in the list of the best hotels of the world.
Huge suites (very affordable too)...butler service…but its the ambience which provides the magic!
