okay, so I kind of lied.
I’ve been here once before. On a road trip, about this time last year.
If you’re a spinner or a fiber freak, you will love it here. Nice people, a neat tour, and best of all, the outlet store, where you can buy spinning fiber and odd lots of wool for an insanely low price. (I mean it. Like, $11 a POUND for Lamb’s Pride Worsted, the reverence of which will only be understood fully by knitters. It’s like the holy love muffin of all yarns.)
One of my goals is to get back out there, once all the fiber I have in the house is spun. So after the knitter’s olympics, my big focus is on doing just that so that i don’t feel bad about hopping in the car and driving about nine hours one way to go see it again.
