It was a wonderful experience to visit Hawai’i. The small island state is a real beauty. I think the fact that I spent it with highschool friends before graduation is what made the experience so special. But the entire time, we went kayaking, hiking, and tanning. The beaches were great and so relaxing!

Sure, LA doesn’t have the greatest art museums in the world, much less America; NY and the Chi have that. But the Getty does hold its own. The museum itself is a beautiful architectural structure, and I did enjoy strolling through.

And the galleries are pretty extensive with works of art detailing throughout different time periods. It’s loads better than LACMA, so I def will return.

Be prepared to shell out the moolah. Sure, there are LV residents, but I consider the place to be a tourist spot (as do most others). And why not? The entire Las Vegas strip is rife with hotels and casinos.

But I’ve never had a bad experience here. I enjoyed my stays at Bellagio, Wynn, and Caesar’s Palace. The “O” show and “KA” were real gems. Food has vastly improved with each visit. So it’s a real alluring tourist trap that I wouldn’t mind getting stuck in.

Now, if I absolutely had to leave LA and live in another city, I think SF would definitely be one of the options on my list! The city is just so awesome. Though it is quite different from the LA vibe, it’s different in a wonderful way.

The city is so chill! And it is a cultural mecca in many ways, so I def wouldn’t mind staying.

Now…I use “worth visiting” with a bit of trepidation because in actuality, I don’t like the city very much. I found Timesquare to be obnoxious, the city itself very dirty, and some individuals quite aggressive (one even pulled my hair!). So, with that in mind, no the city isn’t the best I’ve visited.

However, there are wonderful aspects of the city that I cannot ignore. It really is a cultural playground. Broadway is fantastic. And I liked Soho since it was away from most of the bustle of the city. So neat parts of the city are wonderful gems that have made NY worth visiting. But in general, the city doesn’t do it for me.

The Tour Eiffel is just a pretty, strange, abominable thing to look at depending on who you are. It’s a fixture of Paris. But to be honest, going up the thing wasn’t special. It seems like there are plenty of other places that offering breathtaking views without the multitude of tourists shoving you around.

The museum is much more quiet and smaller than the Louvre, but that isn’t to say the museum itself lacks quality works of art. I actually prefer the Orsay over Louvre because the museum is a lot more laid-back. You can take your sweet time going through the galleries without really, really pushy tourists shoving you about.

This museum is an extensive palace filled with valuable works of art…how can you NOT visit? It’ll take days to simply peruse through everything, and months to really observe different works. The place is a massive archive! For art lovers everywhere, the newly initiated, or the skeptical, it’s a must.

It’s a huge palace of sumptuous rooms and beautifully tended gardens. Just go through the different rooms to see how exquisite the materials used are! And the gardens are gorgeous during a bright, sunny day. Taking a walk through the grounds is just a nice way to unwind while taking in the sights.

Venice is a beautiful city…so romantic! Maybe it’s the rippling waters threatening to wash over the entire city! But beyond that, I just found the place to be a wonderful spot to see artisans going about their craft. Glass pendants and carnavale masks kept me fascinated.
