If you have any connection with credit unions, you owe it to yourself to take a trip to America’s Credit Union Museum. On this spot in 1908, the first credit union in the United States began operation in an attorney’s home. This story and many others are incredibly inspiring. There are two floors with exhibits explaining key points in credit union evolution. The first floor is dedicated to 1908-1933, the second floor takes us from 1934 to today. The third floor has a 65-person capacity meeting space with projectors.

I heard some cranking tunes emanating from this establishment on Saturday night. I had to stop in and check out the band… The name of the band was Last Laugh, and they sounded very good and tight.

A delightful restaurant! First class in every way. And best of all, Richard will actually greet you at the door! Definitely on the pricey side, be prepared for that before you decide to have dinner here.

Out of the aquariums I’ve visited, this ranks number two in the country. The non-aquarium wildlife here is as interesting as the actual fish exhibits, and it works. Amazing flamingos, interesting birds, monkeys, penguins, and even a panther. Here is my ranking of what I’ve visited:

1. National Aquarium in Baltimore

2. Dallas World Aquarium

3. New England Aquarium in Boston

4. Mandalay Bay’s Aquarium in Las Vegas

5. Dallas Aquarium in Fair Park

It doesn’t get much fresher than this! Great little place.

I love this place! Very cute, cozy and romantic. I once had a fabulously romantic dinner here. We ate our entire meal on a couch with a low table tucked in an out-of-the-way spot.

If you are a Brooks Robinson fan… you have to visit, and don’t leave till you’ve found it!

As I was being shot into the air at 300 mph, all I could scream was HOLY $H*#!!!!!!!!!! This is easily one of the very best things to do in Vegas. You will seriously think you are going to die. Which makes it completely not-to-be-missed.

The one place in Vegas that is definitely kid-friendly. Very impressive considering that it’s in the middle of the desert.

A cool little cafe in Ellensburg. The decor is delightfully modern. I especially loved the doorways to the bathrooms.
