I’ve been here 3 times now, including living there for 6 months, and can’t get enough! Its full of culture, shopping, great people and food and always something to get into! You can see the sites, go to the beach, ride the train, tram and bus all on one ticket and very easy to get around without a car- major plus! Starting to plan my trip for next year… wonder whats new :)
over 4 years agoI havent been in a couple years but it was quite an experience… Stick with the well known tours as it CAN be a dirty and scary place if you arent careful or with a big group. The taxi drivers I had were all crazy drivers :) but most of them are no matter where you go! Beautiful water falls…. great WARM water to swim in!
over 4 years agoI have been to Australia 3 times now and intend to go back some time in 2008! The 2nd time I went for a study abroad program and lived in Melbourne for 6 months! WOW what an experience. I have several friends that live there and have been all over! Cant wait to afford a place there some day, although the flight is the most expensive part so maybe I should buy a plane instead! haha I have amazing pictures of Melbourne, Sydney, Cairns, etc. If you are interested or need any advice on who what when- hopefully I can point you in the right direction :)
