i’m a night owl. so, vegas is my kind of town. ;) the day starts around lunch or dinner time. whichever you choose. ;) nightlife is amazing, there are a ton of great shows, and restaurants. before and after the casinos. ;)

if you can afford to stay in bellagio, do. if not, visit at least once. you won’t want to leave. try the croissant at the jean c… something patisserie. it is $5 and worth every penny. don’t miss the dancing fountains during the day AND at night. they are beautiful.

if shows are of any interest at all, see O. it is spectacular. the next time around i plan to see KA.

they want your money early. the slots machines are greeting you in the airport right when you get off the plane. ;)

don’t miss the venetian. it’s quite impressive.

overlook the ugly brown exterior of the wynn, and do go inside because it is gorgeous. there is a chocolate shop inside, the name eludes me. the whiskey/coffee piece of chocolate i had was out of this world. i came back for another one.

the fremont experience is not too terribly impressive before dark, so i suggest you visit for the light show, after 7pm. you can still find one and two deck blackjack in downtown. not on the strip. so, if you want to have a better chance at bringing some cash back, downtown might be a better option for playing. surprisignly, bellagio has a $5 table. (one ;) most others on the strip don’t, or if they do, only during the day or at graveyard (after 4am).

i saw the “crazy horse” show in paris. “la femme”, i heard is an exact copy, in vegas. if that’s true, i highly recommend it.

if girls in feathers is your thing – “jubilee” is not bad. don’t waste money on tickets upfront. the theatre is very small, you’ll see well anywhere you sit, and save some money for the casino later. ;)

stunning. gorgeous. that’s all i have to say.

spent 5 days in Prague this may. went to carlsbad (karlovy vary), and drove through some countryside as well. Prague is gorgeous. the city center is really well taken care off.. and i have to say is just as expensive as any other western european city. but, the city is beautiful. the kashtan (chesnut) and acacia trees everywhere. it is very compact, and you can get pretty much to any part of the city on foot. some really gorgeous views of the city from the Petrin Tower (copy of the Eiffel tower). don’t miss it. and don’t miss out on czech soups.. they are delicious. coffee is great pretty much anywhere you go, but the best place is “chez marcel”, a small french bistro in Stare Mesto. (2 blocks away from the old town square)

probably one of the best places to visit. theatre, food, museums. love the met. still waiting to go to the guggenheim.

would love to visit NY in the fall. must be spectacular.

the mountains are spectacular. the town is great as well. lots of nice places to eat at. skiing is more suited for the experienced skiers, the double black diamonds, etc… but don’t be intimidated. it’s a great spot for a winter break, and the ski instructors are really, really good.

don’t waste your time. chattanooga is not bad, the downtown area next to the aquarium is kind of nice. has potential to become a “city”. until then, not a big deal.

been to san francisco and los angeles.

great coffee. ocean. what else do you need? ;)

try steak at Los Ranchos, followed by quatro leches. delicious.

one of the most serene and beautiful cities. heaven for van gogh aficionados. the van gogh museum has the largest collection of his paintings.

very pleasant city. love the Prado.

great for day trips to old spanish towns, like segovia, toledo, avila. el escorial can be omitted.
