La Sagrada Família, Eixample

Untitled

Took the family to Barcelona in August 2006. My 10 year old daughter loved it. We have been 2 years in a row now, so next year will be doing something different. Great weekend retreat in the summer. I wish I had an apartment there. A bit expensive, but well worth the visit. So much to see and do, but not enough time if you go only for a weekend.

Barbados, Central America And The Caribbean

Untitled

Barbados is a beautiful Island, with warm & friendly people. The food is indescribably fantastic, with seafood, obviously, being their speciality. Funnily enough, you won’t find a Macdonalds on this island, as Barbadians almost never eat beef… If you get the chance, I would recommend visiting Oistins on the south coast on a friday night, there is a big street party/cookout/dance which has to be experienced. One of the biggest reasons I have for recommending Barbados is the fact that I had an absolutely amazing wedding there!
