in all of my travels in scandanavia and northwestern germany, this city had the most to see and do. lodging (youth hostel) was relatively easy to find, and the city seems especially accustomed to travellers from all over. There were things to do even in the middle of the night, interesting people, architecture, water/boats. It’s just very worth experiencing…

...but if you don’t have family there, I can’t see any other reason you’d want to visit. There’s lots of forest, open space, and chemical smelling air from Eastman Kodac and Mead factories.

The closest thing to a city to where I was actually living (Lagan – went to school in Ljungby). Vaxjo was a fun place to visit, and small enough to get around on foot. I remember two really good Kabob places being there (one was ‘City Kabob’, and the other one I forget the name of was slightly better).
