Don’t go in winter! Maybe its just me but it was so dreary!

No stories, basically…

We were about to leave when we learned that our flight had been delayed for 3 hours. So one of my sisters and i ran about the sky trains for about two hours (until we bumbed into this slightly scary man who asked us “deep voice” if we were lost [we were] and that pretty much spoiled it). One of the best moments in my travels. Just soaking up the atmosphert. Sigh- i can’t wait to go back.

I stayed here for 3 weeks whilst my father was working for the government and just being a whole family who are isolated from everything and everyone-yet surrounded by millions. AWESOME! It taught me how to make friends, about relationships, about sharing, about how others live and how much you can care about people and animals you’ve never met. But if your a girl you need to toughen up before going there-the beggars, stray dogs and kittens that will probably die within a day just kill you if you don’t know how to take it. And i can thank Russia for almost all my friends (ALOT!!!). Because once you learn how to make friends with people who speak a different language its easy to make friends with those who speak the sam language.
