get a thai massage but be careful
as a young woman on a job assignment with a group of people, i spent too much of my time in bangkok working, but i did get outside of the hotel at every chance possible. taxi drivers tried to trick women, take us to destinations we didn’t ask for, and overcharge us, so you must be careful about knowing where you are going and travel with others if possible. other people were so friendly and curious about america – they made the experience very enjoyable. i didn’t try fried crickets from street vendors but other food i ate (mostly noodles) was very tasty. i wish i had time to get outside of the city and see more of thailand. definitely get a thai massage if you can!!!!
