funny, im doing on a report about the April Fifth Movement right now… i forgot this was on my list. cool.

those pictures aren’t of Rolling Hills, Alberta. it’s flat and dry, but there are cows.

i just went yesterday to do a univercity tour. my whole famiy has gone there, so i figure i’m next. some parts look old and run down, but they just got huge grants from the government, and within 5 years you probably won’t be able to recognize it. it seems really nice though.

we stayed in a condo above the house of blues that my father’s company owned when we visited. it was awesome, because they had all-american rejects in. you could hear the band loud and clear. we ate there too, and the decorations in the courtyard were pretty good.

my grandparents live here, otherwise i would have never come to rolling hills. it spans from 1st-5th ave and 1st-5th street. that’s all there is to it. there’s one store, a school, and a bank, and a golf course. i like it because it humbles you when you go, to be with something so small. there’s a real sence of community that you can’t get in big cities. everyone knows everyone.

i recommend this place because it’s the only store in rolling hills.

i went a long time ago for a field trip in school. it’s neat, but i mean, we’re in texas. it should be in china. it’s sorta in the middle of nowhere.
